01 / The Challenge

Meridian's dispatch team coordinated 400+ vehicles through five separate systems and spreadsheets. Route planning was manual, customer ETAs were guesses, and a single dispatcher error could cascade across the day's schedule.

02 / Our Approach

The thinking behind the build

Before designing anything, our team rode along with drivers and sat with dispatchers through full shifts. The insight that shaped the product: dispatchers didn't need more data they needed fewer decisions. So we designed the platform exception-first: the system plans and re-plans routes continuously, and humans only see the cases that genuinely need judgment.

We de-risked the migration by running the new platform in shadow mode alongside the old tools for a month, comparing its route plans against dispatcher decisions daily until the team trusted it then cut over one region at a time.

What we built

We built a real-time operations platform: live GPS ingestion, an optimization engine that continuously re-plans routes as conditions change, dispatcher dashboards with exception-first workflows, and mobile apps that give drivers turn-by-turn plans and digital proof of delivery.
