Converge Solutions was founded on a conviction: that Nepali engineering can compete with anyone given honest process, senior craft, and real ownership. Twelve years and 150+ projects later, our software runs banks, gyms, fleets, and hospitals across three continents.
01 / Our Story
Converge Solutions started in 2014 with three engineers and one borrowed room in Kathmandu. Our founder, Dipesh Maharjan, had spent a decade building software for international clients through other firms watching talented Nepali engineers do the work while the trust, the relationships, and the ownership lived elsewhere. Converge was built to close that gap: a firm where the people who build the software own the client relationship, the estimates are honest, and the code belongs to the client from day one.
Our first client was a Kathmandu fitness studio that needed a simple membership tracker. That tracker became a platform, the platform became a five-branch automation system, and the relationship became the template for how we work: start where the pain is, ship something real quickly, and let results earn the next conversation.
Today we're 40+ engineers, designers, and consultants in Naikap, Kathmandu, serving two kinds of clients with equal pride: Nepali institutions modernizing how the country works banks rolling out self-service kiosks, businesses going digital and international companies from North America to Australia who've discovered that senior engineering doesn't have to cost Silicon Valley rates.
The name reflects the mission: great outcomes happen where business insight and engineering excellence converge. That intersection is where we live and we're proving, project by project, that it can live in Kathmandu.

Converge is founded in Kathmandu with a single client a local fitness studio and a conviction: Nepali engineering can compete with anyone.
2016
A US logistics firm takes a chance on a small Kathmandu team. The engagement still runs today our longest continuous partnership.
2018
Clients kept asking 'what should we build?' before 'build this' so advising became a first-class service, not a side conversation.
2020
Lockdowns proved the remote playbook we'd been running for years: not a single sprint missed, on any continent.
2022
Migrations and FinOps become a dedicated team. Our hundredth project ships the same quarter.
2024
IronPeak's automation platform launches QR turnstiles, auto-renewals, live dashboards. Front-desk queues simply disappear.
2025
Six banks running on one platform. Cash and cheque deposits, 24/7, resilient through power cuts and festival rushes.

Named a top technology consultancy. The room is much bigger now; the conviction hasn't changed.
