QA Automation Engineer
Build the automated safety nets that let client projects ship weekly without fear.
Quality at Converge is engineered, not inspected. You'll build test automation into client projects from sprint one: API and end-to-end suites, performance baselines, and the CI integration that makes green mean go. You'll work across teams, making quality a property of the system rather than a phase.
What you'll do
- Design test strategies for new client projects, from unit to end-to-end
- Build and maintain automation suites (Playwright, Vitest/Jest, API testing)
- Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines
- Establish performance and accessibility baselines
- Coach engineers on testable design and testing craft
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in test automation for web applications
- Strong Playwright or Cypress experience, plus API-level testing
- Programming fluency in TypeScript or JavaScript
- CI/CD integration experience
- A pragmatist's eye for what to automate and what not to
Nice to have
- Performance testing (k6, Artillery)
- Accessibility auditing
- Mobile and kiosk testing experience
