Converge Solutions Turns Twelve: 150 Projects, Six Banks, and One Big Lesson

Twelve years in

Converge Solutions turned twelve this month. We marked it the way we mark most things shipping but a birthday is a fair excuse to look back at what three engineers in a borrowed room in Kathmandu have become: a 40-person team whose software runs banking kiosks across six banks, tracks fleets on three continents, and checks thousands of gym members through turnstiles every morning.

What the numbers say

This year our client retention reached 98%, our 150th project shipped, and our KIOSK banking platform the most technically demanding thing we've ever built crossed six tenant banks with zero reconciliation incidents since launch. Meanwhile our consulting practice guided two clients through SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications on schedule.

We're prouder of a quieter number: more than half of this year's new business came from referrals by existing clients. Marketing budgets can buy attention; only delivery buys that.

The one big lesson

If twelve years compress into a single lesson, it's this: trust is an engineering practice. It's built in weekly demos where clients see real software, in estimates that survive contact with reality, in code repositories that live under the client's name from day one, and in the occasional uncomfortable conversation where we recommend against the bigger project.

Every practice we're known for exists because trust demanded it. The technology changes every few years; that doesn't.

What's next

2026 is a building year: we're growing our cloud and data engineering practices, expanding the kiosk platform into new markets, and hiring across engineering, design, and consulting in Kathmandu including remote roles.
